Dal

Ingredients :

Lentils          1 Cup.

Chillli powder 1/2 tsp. (not really hot)

Cumin Seeds      1/2 tsp.

Mustard Seeds    1/2 tsp.

Tumeric          1/2 tsp.

Salt             to taste.

Ginger           1'inch piece.

Garlic           2 Clove minced.

Onion medium    x 2  chopped.

Tomato medium     x 2  Chopped.

Curry leaves - 20

Aubergine 1 chopped


Oil              1 Tbsp.


Fry mustard seeds & chilli leaves

Then add onions, garlic, ginger and gently fry till soften

Then add chilli powder, turmeric, cumin to fry

Finally add, tomatoes, aubergine, dal

Pressure cook 20 mins (add 700 ml water)
