Garlic Bread Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 large cloves of garlic
  • 100g soft butter
  • 2 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, chopped finely (optional)
  • 1 ciabatta bread or 1 baguette


Method

Preheat oven to 200 C. 
Make the butter, garlic, parsley mixture as above. 
Make 1-inch thick slices into the bread, but do not go all the way through, just to the bottom crust. 
Use a knife to spread generously the garlic butter between the slices, Then with a sheet of tin foil, wrap up the loaf and place in the middle of the oven and bake for around 15 minutes. 

If you wish to have a crusted top, open the foil and allow to bake for an extra 5 minutes.
